GTA 6 Store Pages Quietly Updated: Pre-Order Bonus Cutoff Now Reads 'Prior to 19 November 2026 at 23:59:59'
Rockstar quietly updated the GTA 6 listings on the PlayStation and Xbox stores: the pre-order bonus cutoff now reads "Purchase prior to 19 November 2026 at 23:59:59", Vice City was added to the Xbox trademark line, and a few descriptions were corrected.
With 59 days to go until launch, Rockstar Games has quietly revised the Grand Theft Auto VI listings on the PlayStation and Xbox stores. The changes are small individually, but one of them has a hard deadline attached — and it affects anyone who hasn't pre-ordered yet.
According to reporting by Beebom on September 21, the edits appeared on both console store pages earlier this month. TechWiser and trendzbetagames have since confirmed the same round of changes. The biggest one: the pre-order bonus cutoff. When Rockstar first announced the bonus, all pre-orders and purchases made before November 20, 2026 were eligible. The listings now read: "Purchase prior to 19 November 2026 at 23:59:59" to receive the Vintage Vice City Pack and one free month of GTA+.
The current PlayStation Store listing for the Ultimate Edition confirms the new wording, and adds that the GTA+ month must be redeemed by 31 March 2027 at 23:59:59, with the offer itself ending 19 November 2026. One thing the pages don't say is which time zone the 23:59:59 cutoff follows — so if you're cutting it close, buying on the 18th is the safe move.
The fine print matters here. The listings don't specify which time zone that 23:59:59 belongs to. TechWiser worked out the conversions assuming Pacific Time: 11:59 PM on November 19 in Los Angeles is 2:59 AM on November 20 on the US East Coast, 7:59 AM in the UK, 1:29 PM in India, and 4:59 PM in Japan. If your store region uses local time instead, you simply get until 11:59 PM on the 19th wherever you are. Either way, treating the 18th as your personal deadline keeps you safe.
What else changed
The Xbox listing got a few edits the PlayStation page didn't. The trademark section now includes the iconic GTA location, Vice City, which was previously missing: "© 1997–2026. Rockstar Games Inc. Rockstar Games, Grand Theft Auto, Grand Theft Auto VI, VI, Vice City, R*, and related logos are trademarks of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc."
Rockstar also added a legal disclaimer and digital product licensing notice directly before the trademark section, and reformatted the Ultimate Edition upgrade section — bullet points were swapped for dash-style points, and the Goodtime Gear description was corrected. Among the fixes: "Macca the Alligator" is now "Macca the Gator", and both store pages currently use the corrected wording.
A note on timing
One caveat: a GTA fan site noted that some of these edits, including the Macca correction, appeared earlier than Beebom's September 21 report. So it's not possible to pin each individual tweak to a specific day. What matters is what the pages say now — and right now, they say you have until one second before midnight on November 19 to lock in the pre-order bonus.
